Starting with a raw vision, we crafted an MVP, laying the foundation for what would evolve into a full product. As the project continued, we refined and expanded its features, transforming Houzit from a concept into a complete platform.

Our team faced numerous obstacles, each demanding innovative solutions and determination. Yet, with every hurdle, our commitment only grew stronger, pushing us to build Houzit's even further. The end result is not just a platform, but a reflection of our tough journey for redefining the real estate landscape.

Technologies used in the project implementation

Choosing the tech stack wasn't straightforward. Everyone knew we were building an MVP. Everyone also knew that we would develop a full product later. But how do you create a full project with MVP tools?

Considering both Mobile and Web - we chose Flutter. Wanting to avoid a heavy backend, we went for Strapi. Everything was combined in a way that didn't delay the releasing the first version but provided real prospects for scaling up to millions of revenue later on.

The main task and challenge of which we had to solve

RAPID SCALING TO FULL PRODUCT

Managing the balance between business needs and MVP capabilities was a significant challenge.

Addressing tech debt, an inevitable aspect of rapidly advancing projects, became a pivotal part of our strategy. We had to not only identify and resolve existing issues but also anticipate and plan for the future to avoid further obstacles on our path.

MIGRATING STRAPI FROM v3 TO v4

Determining the optimal timing for such a significant transition was a central concern. We had to weigh the immediate benefits of accessing new features and improved performance against the potential disruptions and challenges the migration could introduce.
Ensuring minimal downtime, maintaining data integrity, and retraining the team on the nuances of the updated platform were all factors that played into this critical decision.

FLUTTER MOBILE TO WEB ADAPTATION

We prioritized ensuring a consistent user experience across both platforms, which meant re-evaluating our UI/UX design choices and making necessary adjustments.

Additionally, we faced the task of optimizing performance, as web browsers present a different set of constraints compared to mobile devices.

Let's make something together.
